Some news from HERO’s 2017 as well as what’s on in 2018…

John Abel and Martyn Taylor clinched a win on the RAC Rally of The Tests – but it was a close-run thing and could have gone to past winners, Howard Warren/Iain Tullie.

One thing that has come from the event was that this running was one of the most enjoyable and challenging of years past, something that we intend to carry forward through the next editions and into the future.

There is a full report and detailed results table available here and we are delighted to announce that entries for the 2018 event are open now, click this link to enter – 36 places already reserved.

Guy and Anthony have already been working on the route, it will start in Harrogate with the finish at the RAC Headquarters in Bristol.

HERO Introductory Training – learn from the professionals

We will be running our popular training session on Sunday 25th February at the Race Retro show. The training session is aimed at both drivers and navigators and a must for anyone considering entering a regularity rally, the training is split into two sessions.

AM: This session covers the basics and is a must for those that are thing of, or have entered on their first event.

PM: Perfect for those who already understand the basics, already competed on an event or two and would now like to further their knowledge. It is also ideal for those who haven’t competed in a while.

This is an essential course for anyone wanting to start out or refresh their knowledge of classic regularity rallying. Look for the discounted price for attending both sessions, there is also a reduced rate for bringing a partner/guest/friend too
